cseTools Sewer Planning for BricsCAD

Professional solutions for the planning of drainage and water supply systems

cseTools Sewer Planning

The sewer planning supports the graphical, database-assisted design of sewer networks for urban water management as either separate or combined systems. It supports the import of ISYBAU and ASCII data (among others), the construction and management of house connections, road gullies, as well as special structures (optional).

There is direct access to the data from the as-built plan, terrain model, and pipeline planning.

cseTools Sewer Planning offers you

  • seamless integration into market-leading CAD systems
  • planning of separate or combined sewer systems
  • interfaces for
    • ISYBAU (Format 96, 97 and 2001)
    • ISYBAU XML (2024/06, 2017/07, 2013/02 and 2006/10)
    • DWA-M 150 (Version 04/2010 Type A, Type B, Type D and Type Z or Version 10/2003)
    • Excel workbooks in both the old xls and the new xlsx format
    • ASCII data (csv, txt...)
  • direct connection to Microsoft Office products for data output and further processing
  • determination of excavation volumes
  • hydrodynamic calculations, e.g. for network dimensioning or hydraulic performance verification according to DWA-A 110
  • intelligent documentation and reporting tools, e.g. for statistical analyses, reports and protocols

Functions of the cseTools Sewer Planning

  • Working according to BIM methods
Spatially based design and editing, and intelligent connections between network elements (e.g. carrying over connection heights when changing pipe runs).

  • Height planning in longitudinal section
Interactive working is also possible within the longitudinal section view.

  • Data exchange ISYBAU and DWA
All known versions of the ISYBAU and DWA-M 150 exchange formats are supported. From ISYBAU 96 to ISYBAU-XML 2024/06.

  • Material range
Range-oriented working through the integrated material database. Full integration of the material database for faster design: e.g. when graphically creating manholes and pipe runs. Material ranges from any manufacturer can be integrated (e.g. REHAU).

  • Catchment areas
The catchment areas are constructed graphically and runoff coefficients are assigned. This allows the calculation of rainfall water volumes. The areas or wastewater volumes can also be entered numerically.

  • Dimensioning
A preliminary design (steady-state calculation) according to Prandtl-Colebrook is offered. Alternatively, a complete network dimensioning can be carried out using the time coefficient method.

  • Hydraulic calculations
Complete hydraulic calculations from a wastewater calculation via a steady-state calculation using the time coefficient method to an unsteady calculation using the volume hydrograph method.
  • Quantity Determination
Pipe lengths and excavation volumes are determined according to DIN4124, EN1610 and Ö-NORM and clearly summarised in a quantity calculation.

  • Network Plans
Site plans are processed and prepared within the programme. Various representations of a plan can be generated and saved automatically. The labelling can be customised. Texts are automatically set apart.

  • Longitudinal Section
Intelligent management of previously generated longitudinal sections with the option to generate multiple longitudinal sections in bulk. Individual parameterisation of each section. Both internal network collisions and collisions with elements from external networks (e.g. pipeline planning) are calculated, house connections are displayed, and the terrain profile is calculated from an existing digital terrain model.

  • Chamber Measurement Sheet and Chamber Sections
A chamber sketch with chamber clock and sectional view as well as a component list is automatically generated from the available chamber data.

  • Analyses
Designs, evaluations and analyses are carried out specifically for the sewer. At the same time, comprehensive documentation of the sewer system is created. Reports are generated automatically or the data is clearly presented in diagram form.

cseTools Sewer Planning: Overview of Functions
